Hi, I’m Nasya 👩🏻‍💻

My experiences living in 3 countries guide my design philosophy of inclusion, empathy and love. My undergrad in Digital Media Design helped me explore all avenues of design and developed my problem solving abilities and design thinking. Recently, I began the Daily UI’s challenge on Dribbble to improve my visual design skills!

I am currently a UX Designer at Microsoft!

Less is More

Simplicity is key because it breaks things down to their essential, core purpose and what you get is the most fundamental version of the object. As Jonathan said: “Simplicity is not the absence of clutter, that’s a consequence of simplicity. Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product.”

Empathy and Focus

Empathy towards the target users goes a long way. It helps to see the world from their eyes and understand how they might feel about a problem, circumstance, or situation. With this, my focus will always be on creating user centered designs and solving actual problems rather than potential made up ones.

Purpose

Every design should serve a purpose with a good rationale behind it. Without that, it would just be a beautiful piece of useless work. There are multiple methods and strategies to make sure that there is a purpose for the creation of a product and ways to test if it fulfills its purpose.
